Come to the Airport Lounge in the Library today, Friday, April 8th from 11:30 to 12:30 for the next community update on Hampshire’s Knowledge and Wellness Commons. Once again, for those not in the loop, the K&W commons will be a major redesign of the Library and Robert Crown Center that will incorporate Health Services and an elevator (!!) into the RCC. Dedicated Howler readers will recall that the last time there was a community update, we were called a very engaged community. This week’s posters are unimpeachable, but we implore you to attend anyway. Bruner/Cott, the architectural firm guiding the project, will be presenting “preliminary conceptual designs” for the renovation. Go and oppose the design that removes the pool. Your pool may be in danger.
